The first time I've seen a flash mob was on tv last year. I won't say what show, because I do not want to be judged by my taste in reality shows. But a flash mob is an interesting way for a company to garner attention from those who happen to be in the area as well as those who watch the spectacle through youtube.
Dodge decided to tryout the Flash Mob idea at San Diego's Rock n Roll Marathon. All of a sudden, everyone hears "Let It Rock" by Cash Money Records' own Kevin Rudolf (chances are they used the version without Lil Wayne), and the amount of dancers grows more and more.
While the dancers are letting it rock, the newly redesigned Dodge Charger and Dodge Durrango are in the parking lot, to draw the unsuspecting Marathon attendees to them.
Final note: Kevin Rudolf is getting a lot of commercial airtime from that song. This isn't the first commercial where a major company has used this song. No wonder Baby can afford this car, this car, and this car...
