The new 2011 Ford Fiesta was unveiled in Bangalore. The new Fiesta is the pioneer of Ford’s new theme called ‘one product’. The theme signifies that all products from Ford will get the same products/variants across the globe.
The all-new Fiesta has been designed and engineered to create a feeling of quality and sophistication. And without a doubt, this car truly stands out in the crowd.
The Fiesta is equipped with Cruise Control technology, which makes long drives easy. It also features the Voice control and Bluetooth feature, a first in its class. This feature makes you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel while the car does the rest. An interesting element is the side mirrors, which automatically fold-in when parked.
Ford says the 2011 Fiesta is built on the new design language, Kinetic design, which visualizes the dynamic driving characteristics through external and internal design elements. For Martin Smith, Executive Design Director for Ford of Europe it was, “the most complete, expressive and exciting Fiesta Ford has ever produced, inside and out.” It encapsulated Ford kinetic Design in its purest form, with a signature lower grille, pronounced wheel arch lips and a dynamic beltline running the length of the car. The futuristic interior exceeded expectations set by the Verve Concept and included a mobile phone inspired entertainment system and sophisticated Human Machine Interface.
The new Fiesta’s bold, athletic design, sculptured curves and dynamically elongated headlamps give a perpetual sense of energy and motion that commands your attention.
Engine options include a 1.6-litre petrol producing 108.4bhp, 140Nm and a 1.6-litre diesel engine producing 90bhp and 204Nm of torque.
It’s little wonder that the all-new Fiesta is taking the world by storm.
