Jaguar XKX Concept

Jaguar is an amazing concept XKX connecting with each other cult classic look of the car and the latest technology. The authors tried to find a balance between elegance and high performance characteristic for each muscle of the tsar. Is such a vision can be realized?

Jaguar XKX appearance refers to one of the most beautiful cars in automotive history - Jaguar E-type. Smooth, aerodynamic lines of the new car to resemble a classic, but the similarity can be seen only after a closer inspection. The project builds on the achievements of modern technology to adapt the car to our times, while maintaining high performance and luxury.

For example, the roof is actually a transparent piezoelectric layer, which uses air friction at high speeds for battery charging car (Jaguar XKX electric car, of course). The air intakes in the front part are designed to provide even better traction and aerodynamics.

The project is so interesting and practicable, that nothing stands in the way to attempt to move it to reality. That is, provided that the British manufacturer would be interested in it at all. You can always dream, the best viewing gallery of automotive wonders following.

JAGUAR ANNOUNCES NEW SPORTS CAR: THE F-TYPE

Jaguar confirms that it will bring an all-new sports car to production; the F-TYPE.
Speaking at the New York auto show Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director, Jaguar Cars, confirmed: "We showed the C-X16 concept in September 2011, and the reaction to it has been so positive that we've accelerated our development of an all-new Jaguar sports car.
"That car will be called the F-TYPE, and it will be unveiled in production form later this year. The core appeal of Jaguar's cars is their sporting heart, and that heart will beat stronger than ever before in the F-TYPE. Its development is a vivid representation of the confidence and ambition of the Jaguar brand, and the desire amongst our engineers and design team to produce a world-leader in a market segment that we have been absent from for too long. But no longer – the F-TYPE is coming."
Utilising Jaguar's industry-leading knowledge of all-aluminium construction, the F-TYPE will launch as a convertible, and a strict two-seater with the focus uncompromisingly on delivering driver reward. A range of petrol engines will be available – including a new powerplant family – and all will deliver stunning sports car performance.
Today also marks the point that the F-TYPE's rigorous development schedule moves to final on-road testing, with engineering prototypes now leaving Jaguar's Castle Bromwich plant – the same plant at which the production cars will be built.
Ian Hoban, Jaguar's Vehicle Line Director said: "The engineering development of the F-TYPE has focused on delivering a heightened level of dynamic driving reward. We are excited about our progress to date and are looking forward to soon being able to demonstrate what we have achieved."
Ian Callum, Director of Design, said: "A true sports car needs to be pure in both its purpose and its form; to have the opportunity to produce such a car for Jaguar has been a privilege both for myself and for my team. The C-type, D-type and E-type Jaguars were all sports cars that held true to this principle in their era, and the F-TYPE will hold true to that same principle in its time, a time that is soon to arrive."
The F-TYPE will join Jaguar's existing range of cars – the XF saloon and Sportbrake, XJ saloon and XK coupe/convertible. Full F-TYPE technical and range details will be announced later in 2012. It will go on sale in mid 2013.

Jaguar XJ

Need a prestigious car, but you are tired of Audi, BMW and Mercedes? Może Jaguar XJ in the long version will meet your expectations

This model surprised everyone, and even shocked fans of the brand. The eighth generation of Jaguar's flagship, offered since last year, radically broke with more than 40-year tradition XJ model. There is no dual round headlights, and the shape of the body and interior in no way relates to their predecessors.
If not for the leaping cat stamps and inscriptions "Jaguar" placed in several locations of the body, it would be difficult to recognize from a distance model and brand. So what's left? Luxury, high comfort, rich furnishings and prestige.

XJ driver surprising in several respects:

  1. First of all - the engine. Under the hood, a 3-liter diesel with two compressors, very strong and perfectly silent.
  2. Secondly - the lack jack gear. Instead, the center console is a knob, which you select the appropriate mode. Fortunately, also thought about the drivers who prefer sporty driving - the steering wheel there are paddles to change gears.
  3. Thirdly - the lack of the traditional clocks. Instead, there is ... screen which displays the virtual clocks and other indicators, depending on need.
  4. In the fourth, fifth ... There are more surprises, but luckily they are not unpleasant, as are related primarily to increasing comfort equipment (eg, front seats with ventilation function, heating and massage).

To all the news, you can very quickly get used to. Support for cockpit instruments is easy, almost intuitive. It is worth to buy back the camera, it will be useful when parking.

Jaguar XJ has two different faces. The first is sedate, comfortable, well equipped limousine for the president or important director. The second is to ... sporting opportunities. Despite its importance and the Jaguar XJ diesel engine allows fast and highly dynamic driving experience. Simply select the mode knob S (suspension of curing), and then skillfully operować paddles on the steering wheel.

Jaguar XJ owner, even if the driver will often want to lead the car itself, because it is a very enjoyable pastime. Comfort is very high, excellent performance, and additives so that the horse does not get tired of Jaguar's flagship, even on the longest route.

Jaguar C-X75

Jaguar's latest supercar, the XJ220 is celebrating its 20th anniversary. British brand wants to return to the sporting tradition and combining it with the latest technologies. Introduced in 2010, the C-X75 will be the successor of the famous XJ220.

Noting the styling and the latest technologies to make the C-X75 supercar with a top shelf. However, what most impressed at the concept car, the drive system. This is a hybrid, but not just what, for connecting the electric motor with two turbine engines. Unfortunately, this concept car is equipped with only a weak unit of electricity, and gas turbine makers proved to be a dream. Then, it seemed that it would not stand a chance.

Now that you seriously talking about the introduction of this car to sell, I know that the drive will correspond to the individual Electrical and classic four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The impressive performance of this solution is to ensure collaboration with Williams F1. However, it appears that the Indians of the Tata companies, which now must be Jaguar, have more ambitious plans. In addition to 250 cars with conventional drive there is also more limited series equipped with two gas turbines.

Motors have formed the British company Bladon Jets Engineering Centre, which also in part belongs to Daddy. The turbines will be weaker than those known to have jets and produce 95 hp each. In conjunction with electric motors it is sufficient to disperse the car to 60 mph in just over 3 seconds. In addition, the car is consume less fuel and be more environmentally friendly.
