Fully customized Mustang GT sold for $50,000 at Barrett Jackson

The next time I need a car, I’m just going to wait and head to Barrett Jackson. No exaggeration- at the Orange Country show… a fully customized 2012 Mustang GT with super low miles- with the customizations done at a very reputable shop sold for $50,600.

Per Our Friends at Mustangcars.info

"This 2010 Ford Mustang GT convertible was created by Galpin Auto Sports and featured in Ford’s booth at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas, as well as in Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine August 2010 issue, Top 10 SEMA Rides for 2009, Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine Top 10 Mustangs of 2010 and Mustangsand Fast Fords 2010 calendar. Styling features include GAS hand-fabricated, all-metal wide body exterior that adds a total of 6 to the width of the vehicle, as well as a PPG custom two tone gloss black and pearl Grabber Blue paint with silver accents. This is a true American thrill machine. The GAS team added a Ford Racing 550hp supercharger, Ford Racing handling pack, Hurst shifter, JPC 1-piece aluminum driveshaft and a McLeod aluminum flywheel and dual disc clutch. The faster you go, the quicker you are going to need to stop, so GAS installed Wilwood brakes and 20 Forgiato aluminum Mono Leggera Pinzette wheels with high performance Pirelli tires. Interior details include custom leather seats, Ford Racing custom backlit door sill plates and a JL audio sound system with 900 watts. This amazing car is equally exhilarating whether you are on the road with the top down or in the city for a night on the town. Added factory options include navigation, exhaust system and Grant steering wheel. 6,080 original miles."

In a nutshell, Galpin Auto Sports spared no expense when it came to the customization with this Mustang.

The person who won the auction with this vehicle saved a lot of money. The Kelly Blue Book set the value of this car at $28,900 (as of June 2012). Then if you add the customizations, and by the looks of it, it was at least $40,000 worth of work alone (I said $40,000 because GAS basically stripped the car and started all over again). So that marks the total to roughly $68,900 Mustang that was won, but the winner only spent $50,000.

And that's why I'm going to Barrett-Jackson the next time I purchase a vehicle... maybe.
Remember I do want a Pink Ford Mustang Boss 302 Edition. What are the odds of them having that?

Vossen Wheels Shows off an Acura ZDX

Acura ZDX - VVSCV1

Vossen Wheels released photos of an Acura ZDX sitting on their VVS-CV1 wheels. I always was fond of the Acura ZDX. You don't see too many of them on the road, plus the rear has a boomerang look to it. This particular ZDX has on the Matte Black Machined version of the VVS-CV1 sized 22x10.5.

Scott Disick SELLS Chrome Audi R8

A long long time ago (I'm being completely sarcastic), Scott Disick purchased an Audi R8 and had it chromed out. After having it for roughly 6 weeks, he's selling it on ebay.

According to Scott's friends at Calabasas Luxury Motorcars, this 2008 (so he buys his vehicles gently used) Audi R8 is for sale. Perks include: only 6,200 miles, it has a chrome wrap to it with the original color being black, black interior, 20 inch Forgiato Freddo - M Wheels, carbon style wrapped roof, rear decklid, mirror and blades, and more.

And Calabasas Luxury Motorcars beat me to the punch by saying "No dreamers, serious buyers only." Naturally they said it nicer than I could ever say it. If you have enough to purchase it (and own it longer than Scott), contact Roy at 866-980-8263

Let's be real, Calabasas Luxury Motorcars has the best commercial out. The commercial I'm referring to is called Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

MC Customs and Savini Wheels Show off a Porsche Panamera

Miami's own, MC Customs, went postal and installed a Mansory Kit onto a Porsche Panamera and added Savini SV8s wheels.

Mansory or not, body kits are horrendus.

CEC Wheels Talks Mercedes CL65 AMG and Shows off the C883 Wheels

Beverly Hills' own, CEC Wheels, sat down and discussed what makes the Mercedes Benz CL65 AMG so great, as well as why their C883 wheel is the perfect compliment.

Starting at $59,500 more than the CL63, the CL65 is one of the most powerful CL-Class ever offered. Compared to the CL63 with a 5.5L twin-turbo V8 engine generating 536hp and 590lb-ft of torque, the hand crafted engine of the CL65 AMG 6.0L twin-turbo V12 engine generates an impressive 621hp and 738lb-ft of peak torque.

In a stunning Mercedes Benz Designo Magno Alanite Matte finish, the c883 Forged in Anthracite/Machined finish is the perfect compliment for the CL65. The attractive split 7-spoke design of the 21” staggered c883 Forged formulates a sleek combination to accentuate the details of the CL65.

The c883 Forged is built to order for many unique fitments and is available in finishes including Matte Black/Machined and Anthracite/Machined finishes. Available sizing includes 19”, 20”, 21”, and 22” and widths ranging from 8.5” and 13”.

Personally, I like the CL because of the body. It's not as bulky as the S Class, nor is it miniscule like the SL class. I really can't stand the SL class.

ADV.1 Wheels shows off a Lamborghini Adventador

The guys at ADV.1 Wheels released shots of a Lamborghini Adventador. According to ADV.1, "Rounding out the final piece of our new OEM Lamborghini wheel collection is this fine example of our 19″/20″ staggered monoblock setups for the LP700. We outfitted the car with ADV5.1′s in SL configuration to shave as much weight as we could from the overall package. Rather than doing the “stormtrooper” look we opted to add just a shade of darkness on the wheels for contrast using our titanium finish."

I was about to refer to this as the first customized Fisker Karma, but then I remembered the fiasco that Justin Bieber drives.

Concept One Wheels Shows off their CSL-5.5 Wheel
