713 Motoring Shows off a Fisker Karma

The Pride of Houston, 713 Motoring, released a video of a Fisker Karms that was given the special treatment that 713 is known for. Check this out...

I was about to refer to this as the first customized Fisker Karma, but then I remembered the fiasco that Justin Bieber drives.

713 Motoring Shows off a BMW 750 Li

Houston's favorite customizers, 713 Motoring released a video of a BMW 750 Liwearing 24 inch Forgiato Wheels. The same BMW that I saw at Stuntfest in which the owner was a little paranoid because I took a photo of the license plate frame. I guess he thought I was the feds.

What is black and red and has 8 wheels?

Answer: Two fully customized vehicles by 713 Motoring. My Houston rays of sunshine released two videos showing off what they are known for- making sure that the city of Houston looks good while driving. Check this out...

You know, I'm actually excited to go to Texas in November. *clears throat* The stars at night are big and bright... And that's odd of me to be excited to go somewhere that isn't Los Angeles and everyone's favorite city, New York. I hope Texas is ready for me, because after all, everyone loves a New York girl. Don't be surprised if you see me at a car show wearing a wife-beater that says "Everyone loves a New York Girl."

713 Motoring shows off their first Cadillac CTS-V Coupe

Houston's favorite customizers, 713 Motoring, released a video of a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. It's hard to believe, seeing how they've worked of everything- from Fords to Ferraris, that this was their first CTS-V Coupe that received the 713 royal treatment. Check out the video below...

You know they do great work, don't deny it cause they'll find a way to prove you wrong.

P.S. I'm sure the second location of 713 Motoring will have a big enough lobby for them to park cars in.

713 Motoring Shows off an Aston Martin DB9

Houston's finest, 713 Motoring, released a video of an Aston Martin DB9 wearing Forgiato Wheels. Check it out...

You know what? When I go to Houston, I'm parking my rental inside their lobby. I'm kidding, but if the offer stands...

713 Motoring Shows off Two Fully Customized Chevy Camaros

The hard working guys at 713 Motoring released two separate photos for the ever so popular Chevy Camaro. The first video shows the "Knight Ryder Camaro" sitting on Vossen Wheels as well as some fully customized perks.

Now, the second video shows off a slightly different Camaro. Although both Camaros were convertibles, this one sports a wide body exterior as well as red accents and Forgiato Wheels and more.

And before you even have to watch the video, you know that the license plates match the car. But you know I like the Knight Ryder Camaro more. Something about completely blacked out vehicles just melts my heart.

713 Motoring Battles It Out With Two Gorgeous Mercedes

Customizing Greats, 713 Motoring, filmed two separate videos of gorgeous Mercedes Benzes. The first video is a white Mercedes Benz S550 with black accents. The one thing that I can really say about 713 Motoring is that they have a sick attention to detail. Watch the video and look at the accents that they customized- outside of the black Strut Grille and the matching Strut vents.

They customized the door handles- not the side that you mostly see on a car, but the top part... the part that no one thinks to customize.

The second video is of my favorite Mercedes body style- the CLS. This particular CLS63 is sitting on carbon fiber Forgiato Wheels (the one that look like a star).

As much as I adore the CLS body style, I love what 713 Motoring did to the S550. Giving credit where credit is due, although they didn't send me the videos, and I had to search for them. But 713 Motoring will make sure that your vehicle is customized.

Serious question: how many licence plate styles does the state of Texas have? I know it's big, but it ain't that big.

713 Motoring shows off a Ford F350

Last year, Houston's favorite customizers- 713 Motoring released a video of a vehicle that they normally don't customize. I've seen their videos, but it was interesting to see a change, despite if I don't agree with the choice. Check it out...

Even though the aftermarket parts that was used did make this F-350 stand out, it's just something about pickup trucks that just turn me off. At times, I can't even take the Escalade EXT. Again, that's my opinion.

713 Motoring Shows off 2 fully customized cars for Houston Texans players

Houston Texans' personal car customizer, 713 Motoring, released videos of the finished product to a Dodge Challenger and a Chevy Camaro. The Dodge Challenger belongs to Javarris Williams and 713 improved it with some custom paint, smoked tail lights, black aftermarket wheels, and some super dark limo tint. Check it out...

Now, the second vehicle- a completely customized Chevy Camaro SS for Derrick Ward, and 713 Motoring worked their magic by adding black Asanti wheels, super dark limo tint, blacked out Asanti Grille, smoked out head and tail lights, Oracle head lights, lambo doors, and a custom red and black interior... there's probably more, but I was going by what I saw in the video and you'se know I wear glasses. Check this out...

I know you saw the cars in the background that 713 Motoring "subtlety" added. Thought of the moment: I hope 713 owns the entire parking lot because it seems like they have their own personal car show a couple of times a week.

Side note: Wikipedia is one powerful tool. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to not only name the players on the Houston Texans team, but I wouldn't have known that the Houston Texans is a NFL team. Remember- if they don't play on River Ave off of the Major Deegan Expressway in the South Bronx, then it is over my head.

713 Motoring Presents a Bengal Edition Dodge Challenger

713 Motoring released another video, showing off a Bengal Edition Dodge Challenger. Let's watch and then I'll run through the specs.

Specs go as followed:
Flow master exhaust, dodge viper 22 gloss black wheels, color matched grille and grille bezel, smoked taillights hid headlights and foglights, eibach spring lowering kit, color matched brake calipers, and custom Bengal logo on the center cap

P.S. I love how they match the license plate to the car. Remember- in New York, we say license plate. Tag to us is a game. One of the things I had to learn when moving to the South. Also, that a "package store" has nothing to do with a post office.

How We Roll (Video): 713 Motoring

I've been talking about them a lot lately on this site, but as long as they keep customizing cars and send me the photos and videos, then they'll keep appearing on this site. It is free advertising, but some companies don't believe me when I say that.

Out of the goodness of their hearts, Houston's own 713 Motoring sent me a video entitled How We Roll. How We Roll would be a great commercial for the shop- Four fully customized cars parked outside with the Vice President of 713, Brandon, walking around and talking about the cars.

Brandon decided to show off a Blacked Out Mercedes Benz S550 with the smoked out tail lights, a White Chevy Camaro with a body kit, white wheels, and smoked tail lights, A Red Cadillac XLR with red wheels (rumor has it, the interior is red as well), and a White Rolls Royce Phantom that I featured on here before. Watch the video...

I haven't been to Texas yet, and I know that 713 Motoring is somewhere in the Houston area, but I can assume that this isn't the first time they've worked on a S550, a Phantom, the XLR, and a Camaro and it certainly woon't be their last. Well, maybe the Cadillac XLR- let's be real- how many of them have you seen on the road within the last 30 days? Go ahead, I'll wait while you count. Within the five years Cadillac produced them, they haven't been popular. I bet if you add up the total sales from 2004-2009 of the Cadillac XLR, Cadillac probably sold just as many Escalades within a year. I know the XLR was close to $100,000, but they were ugly. A CTS-V looks so much better and the difference in money you save- you can take the car to a reputable company like 713 Motoring to give it a fully customized look. Like how I came full circle with that one?

Also, no matter what day or what time of the day you drive past 713 Motoring, I can easily say that they will always have a stable of cars around. But I honestly don't think that they'll have a Phantom parked in the doorway..

713 Motoring gets their hands on Lawrence Vickers' Panamera

(I may not know football, but I do know that the car above is the Jaguar I've been crying over. And not the Panamera that I'm about to talk about)

The Hardworking guys at 713 Motoring released a video of one of their projects- A Porsche Panamera belonging to Houston Texans' Lawrence Vickers. (You know I had to google Houston Texans to find out that's a football team.) Anyway, it started out stock and once Brandon and the crew got their hands on it, it was a done deal. Check it out...

I'm not a fan of red, but it does look good. But... *whispers* I like the Jaguar above way more. And I don't do football, but I will appreciate the cars that the players drive.

P.S. This Saturday marks the beginning of New York Yankee Season. Saturday is the first Preseason game, but if you go to Tampa to see them, don't expect A-Rod, Derek Jeter, CC Sabathia, or my baseball crush Robinson Cano out there. Their season starts in April.

What happens when 713 Motoring gets their hands on Three Range Rovers???

DSC00086_JPG

This past weekend, I accidently published the 2012 Houston Auto Show/Dub Car Show Coverage. The last photo happened to have the caption: Would have loved to see a full photo of the Range Rover. It was a white Range Rover HSE with illegal window tint, smoked out headlights, and black aftermarket wheels. But the photographer of the photo took a general crowd shot and cut out half of the Range. Well I got my wish...

Houston's Own 713 Motoring recently had the opportunity to fully customize three different Range Rovers: A Range Rover Sport, A Range Rover HSE, and a Range Rover Autobiography Edition. One of 713 Motoring employees, Shaun, sent me a video of each Range, including the one I wanted to see a full photo of. Let's start with the first one...

The Autobiography Range Rover (also known as the most expensive Range Rover) sitting on Forgiatos happens to be owned by Johnathan Joseph of the Houston Texans (Not gonna lie, I really had to google that one. I don't do football.)

The Second Range Rover has a mystery owner (let's be real- all three of them are a mystery since I'm not into football.) but it's a Range Rover Sport

Finally, the third Range Rover HSE (The one I've been waiting for...), the one with the smoked out headlights and tail lights sitting on 26 inch Asantis. This fully customized Range Rover belongs to Derrick Ward of the Houston Texans (smile and nod). And check this out....

I'm so out of touch with football. I could only name one player from the New York Giants and the only reason I know who Osi Umenyiora is because he rents his Atlanta mansion out for video shoots. Remember my motto "If it's not the New York Yankees, it's over my head." Either way, no matter who the owner was, all three of them walked away with some great customized Range Rovers.

Car Show Coverage: 2011 Los Magnificos

A few weeks ago, I decided to break out of my introverted shell (Yes kids, I'm introverted), and decided to converse with some automotive folks on twitter. I met Shaun- one of the guys who works at 713 Motoring in Houston, TX. I asked him the famous question: What is the best car show in the Houston area, because I know it's not Dub. Let's be real, Dub has become more and more commercialized as the years go on. Shaun told me about Los Magnificos and how they have a "good" turnout. My being such the investigative person that I am (My investigative nature did slip when it came to the Funkmaster Flex "Car Show"), I looked up the Los Magnificos show.

Apparently the Los Magnificos Car Show has been going on since before I was born. And the "good" turnout that Shaun was referring to was a total of 800+ cars, motorcycles, and bikes on display. On display, which means that they paid to show off their cars, it doesn't mean the parking lot. 800+ Cars, motorcycles, and bikes!!!! That's like three car shows in Atlanta put together.

To continue with my research, I did stumble across Hugo Martinez's website, Cadillac Photography's website, and Ruben Serrano's Flickr Page. Basically I found three guys who know photography and that I liked their work enough to feature on this site and of course, give them credit for it.

We're going to kick things off with selected photos from Hugo Martinez:

(Nice message)

(Photos like this make me realize why I love going to Lowrider based car shows. To shoot a lowrider car show, you have to have a crazy attention to detail, and I say that because those guys will detail a part of a car you wouldn't think of looking at, let alone photographing. It's a challenge, but it's an appreciated challenge. Why do you think I had a field day at the Torres Empire/Lowrider Car Show in LA? The person who took me to that show wasn't the only reason why I had the best time there.)

And finally, Cadillac Photography's photos...

There's so many more, but at this point, it's safe to say that Texas is in a league of their own when it comes to customizing cars...

The Stars at Night are big and bright... 2012 Los Magnificos as well as Houston, TX, I hope you'se ready for me... But then again, everyone loves a New York girl.
