Tesla Model S for 50K; Crossover Tesla Model X- coming soon.

According to Automotive News and Car and Driver, Tesla is releasing two vehicles. The first one I want to mention is the Tesla Model X, which is a crossover. However, we won't see the model X until 2013.

Now, let's talk about the Model S, because it looks hot. For the Model S, Tesla is asking for a little less than $50,000, and for that price, you'll get a 160-mile range car. That honestly can't be right, unless if it has an a**load of horsepower... If that's not enough, you can pay an additional 10K for a car that gets 230 mile range, or an additional 20K for a car that gets 300 mile range.

For an electrical car, the Tesla Model X is promising to deliver a 0-to-60-mph time of 5.6 seconds, as well as a fully charged vehicle in 45 minutes. Mind you, I'm talking about the 300 mile range car. The exterior, does look like a Maserati in the front and a Jaguar XF in the rear, and that's why I'm actually starting to fall in love with the Model S.

Details are sparse right now, but I do have high hopes for this car.
