Toyota Etios Liva launches on 27th June



Bangalore-based Toyota Kirloskar is hoping to mark its second step of success with the Etios Liva. Toyota, who changed the way India thought about cars "they do not come in budget" has yet another success story to be revealed through its sedan sibling.

Toyota India announced that it is going to launch the Etios Liva petrol version on 27th June and the diesel variant of Etios Liva will be launched in the next 3-4 months. Liva will be sold in Russia, South America and upcoming markets other than India.

The Etios Liva will be powered by 1197cc 16 valve DOHC petrol engines which is expected to produce maximum power of 78.9bhp. Expected variants of Liva would be Toyota Etios Liva J, G, V and VX.

Etios Liva will directly compete with current market leaders such as Volkswagen Polo, Fiat Grande Punto, Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20.
