Mercedes-Benz StarDrive Experience was held on the 12th and 13th of May, The event was packed with energy to demonstrate unique features of the MB cars tested by experts under controlled environment.
The event captured attention of the visitors by the growls of the Mercedes-Benz high performance AMG versions of SL and C-Class along with Mercedes-Benz C-class, E-class, G55, ML class, R class and GL class. Demonstrating their capabilities to maximum in venues like Pro-Engineering Package, Airmatic Package, 30 degree incline hill climb, 40 degree steep, ABS, traction control and safety features.
Now, speaking about the details of the event, I felt that, StarDrive Experience conducted previous year was much better than 2012, since the event called in visitors in groups/batches without anybody to monitor after the intro lounge. People moving in like gala left the place more inconvenient for the potentials to have a clear look or even speak to the right person. Though people within the track circle were well organized and took care of the drive. The SUV section was another segment which was left lonely due to which visitors had to wait for the instructor post the second batch of the event.
The Mercedes-Benz drive experience put their ML-Class, GL-Class, C-Class and E-Class to test the power and performance of the vehicles. The stunt of attraction was the display of vehicle dynamics namely safety features, stability and body-roll, ease of handling, technology, off-road and on-road capabilities.
Along with the actions at the event were the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, C 63 AMG, G55 and R Class, grabbing quick attention of the visitors immediately after the intro lounge.
StarDrive Experience is a new feel to automotive enthusiasts and also a strategy from MB to engage potential customers with initiatives as this and the recently launched Trendz concept store in Bangalore.
