West Coast Customs Customizes Randy Foye's Jeep
Randy Foye, Shooting guard of the Los Angeles Clippers (I had to look that up), took his Jeep Wrangler to West Coast Customs. No strangers to having high profile clientele, Ryan and his crew gave him the royal treatment, especially because the Underdogs of Los Angeles Basketball went further in the playoffs then the Lakers. I'm still laughing over that one... Anyway look at the photos...
The color red doesn't do anything for me, but this Jeep is gorgeous...

Just when Justin Bieber is doing so well...
He does something to set him back. I admit, I liked the Cadillac, Range Rover, and the Fisker Karma, however, the Smart Car...
(Photo: X17 Online)
I mean, most cars look good with matte paint/wrap on them, but not all. Anyhow, Young Bieber was out and about in Los Angeles, and was photographed driving a glorified golf cart. According to Smart USA Insider, the following customizations have been done: Custom Matte Black Paint Job, Kuhl FX Body Kit, Side Air Scoop by Panimex, LED Driving Lights by S-Mann, Blacked out BRABUS like Headlights, Custom Lowering Springs, Custom Wheels and Continental Tires, Turbo Kit Upgrade, Custom Interior, Custom Sound System, and much more...
And I'm pretty sure that West Coast Customs did the custom work. But the Biebs really killed the moment by dubbing it the Swag Car.
I'm sorry, but I can't take the Smart Car seriously. It has 71 horsepower. Hence it's a glorified golf cart. At least a Fiat can hold four people. I really wish he would have gotten a Fiat.

Darth Vader's Ultimate Car by West Coast Customs
If you're one of the lucky people who gets the Velocity channel, then hopefully, you've been watching Inside West Coast Customs. This past episode of Inside WCC, viewers had the chance to see the blood, sweat, and tears behind the creation of the Dark Vader car that was once a 2012 VW Passat.
"The Force is strong with Ryan on this build. Lucas Films has asked West Coast Customs to build Darth Vadar's ultimate ride, and it's a dream come true for this Star Wars fan. Ryan channels his inner Jedi to come up with a car that will please."
Oracle Lighting was kind enough to post production stills (Behind the scene stills) of the final creation, since the Velocity Channel isn't good enough for Direct TV.
Sadly, I couldn't see if they cut me out of the Inside West Coast Customs Sema episode. It wouldn't be hard to find me, there were only a handful of girls taking their classes. I wonder if Luke came to the dark side after seeing this car? This could be the best Passat out- because let's be honest- how many fully customized Passats have you seen? Go ahead, I'll wait...
West Coast Customs shows off a Dodge Challenger
The guys at West Coast Customs released photos of a Dodge Challenger. I think this Challenger's customizations was very understated and low key. You can tell customizations were done, but they didn't go crazy with it. Customizations like this would do great at dealerships. Anyway, check it out...

Interesting Customization: Justin Bieber and his Chromed out Fisher Karma...*
Justin Bieber isn't a stanger to having customized cars that separate him from everyone else. From the Matte Black Range Rover to the Batmobile that made an appearance at the 2011 SEMA Show to his latest project- a brand new Fisker Karma.
Let's go back in time for a second...
Late February, 2012 was the time period where Justin chose to celebrate his 18th birthday in Los Angeles at the Ellen DeGeneres Show. I didn't talk about it because the car he received wasn't customized... at the time. Anyway, his manager presented him with the "car of his dreams", a 2012 Fisker Karma. Scooter Braun, Justin's manager, continues by saying "We wanted to make sure, since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always environmentally friendly. And we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out … I think you know where I'm going, and you're kind of freaking out right now. That's a Fisker Karma."
Although driving a Range Rover, Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, a Ferrari, and a Lamborghini will never scream environmentally friendly, we'll roll with it.
Like any guy who possesses individuality- he got it customized. Owning a Fisker Karma is rare in itself, but now... just look at the photos.
Upon receiving the Fisker Karma, Justin took the car to his good friends- Ryan Friedlinghaus and his West Coast Customs Crew. No strangers to chroming out high end cars (see the Tron Audi Car), they chromed it out with black aftermarket wheels.
Chroming out a vehiche is a relatively new customization- the first one I've seen was Sema 2010. It's a popular trend in Japan- but in Japan- they chrome cars that should never be chromed (i.e. Buick Regal). We've seen Tyga's Chromed Audi R8 (which looks a mess because it's gold), I've seen a Burgundy Chromed Ford Mustang. So until then, I don't mind the chroming of a vehicle, however, two rules apply: Not all vehicles are meant to be chromed (See the Japanese Buick Regal) and not every color looks good with a chrome finish (See Tyga's Audi R8).
Random thought: I wonder what kind of driver Justin would be? Does he drive like an old lady or does he think he could be in the next Fast and the Furious. I think he tries to drive like a Fast and the Furious Extra, but ends up driving like an old lady.
*I know the spelling of the make of said car is fisker, however, most of the people searching about Justin Bieber have been spelling it as fisher.

Michelle Wie's Kia Soul by West Coast Customs
When West Coast Customs worked their magic on the Kia Optima for Blake Griffin, they also had another project as well. Kia presented Golf Champion Michelle Wie with a fully-- and I do mean fully customized Kia Soul by West Coast Customs. According to WCC, Michelle will be riding in style in her new Kia Soul with custom painted graphics to match her signature golf bag. Add to that, new wheels, an aggressive body kit and the flat-screen TV and X-Box console in the rear hatch, and this thing will definitely be the talk of the Masters. The interior will be outfitted with putting green style astro-turf in place of the carpet, and custom leather seats to match the exterior paint. Check this out...
Isn't that fun??? Is it me, or does the colors used to customize that Kia match my blog?

West Coast Customs Slam Dunked Blake Griffin's Kia Optima
Remember the 2011 NBA All Star Slam Dunk Contest, and one contestant used a Kia Optima to jump over and dunk the ball?
Well, in case you forgot:
Now. That player is Blake Griffin and he plays for Los Angeles' forgotten basketball team- the Clippers. (Note: Does LA know that the Clippers is their team?) As part of his sponsorship, he received a brand spankin' new Kia Optima. (Another note: those Optimas surprisingly ride super well. Iburn rubber test drove a turbo one).
According to Customization Giants, West Coast Customs, Blake’s slick new Optima will feature the thin-slat hard wood floors of a basketball court, custom orange paint to give the entire exterior the feel of a ball on its way to the hoop and matching leather throughout the interior. But the WCC team won’t stop there. They’ll hook Blake up with new wheels and tires, a custom West Coast stereo system, and all the WCC styling that’s made the shop second to none.
I love a themed car. Most importantly, I love a themed car that is done right...
I remember my very first car show- Nopi at the Atlanta Motor Speedway Sept 2007, and there was a Ford Expedition and they tore out the entire carpet and made it a hardwood floor inside the car. I wished that West Coast Customs would have done that instead of the floor mats.
Is it me, or ever since West Coast Customs backed away from the show that ruined the art of customizing a car (MTV's Pimp My Ride), they've been getting some serious clientele. And by serious- I mean Fortune 500 Companies.

Bernie's Favorite: Crystal Rock Range Rover by West Coast Customs
You know what? Let the photos speak for themselves.
Here's why. First and foremost, not sure if you realized it but I am a girl. Don't let the name Bernie fool you. Yes I do have pink accent on my blog. I'm not overly girly, but I do like girly things. Next to a completely blacked out vehicle, I love crystals on a car.
I really really wished that they waited for a nice, sunny day to photographed this Range Rover. Because if it was sunny, the light would hit the crystals ever so perfectly.
My favorite customized vehicle by Unique Autosports is Pam Anderson's LoveStream trailor. But this Range Rover, even though I HATE the body kit on it, is my favorite vehicle by West Coast Customs. *drops mic and walks off stage*
