Alpine Electronics Now Shipping INA-W910 Audio/Video/Navigation System


Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the INA-W910 audio/video/navigation (AVN) system. The INA-W910 is an AM/FM/ CD/DVD receiver with a 7-inch WVGA motorized display. It is compatible with a variety of digital entertainment and information sources, making it ideal for system building.

Audio Features:
The INA-W910 offers several options for accessing popular audio sources:
• HD Radio®: HD Radio is built-in to the INA-W910, plus HD Radio multicasting is available for accessing HD2 and HD3 channels beyond the main FM HD Radio station. iTunes® Tagging from HD Radio stations allows users to tag songs for purchase from the iTunes store.
• SiriusXM Satellite Radio: For satellite radio access, the INA-W910 uses the SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit (sold separately, XM subscription required). Channel name, number and category, plus artist and song name, are visible on the INA-W910’s screen. The INA-W910 stores up to 18 XM station presets and features SiriusXM Replay™ for pause, rewind and replay of up to 30 minutes of live SiriusXM content; Song Alert™; Artist Alert™; Game Alert™; and iTunes Tagging.
• Pandora® internet radio: The INA-W910 can play music from the iPhone Pandora app. Artist, song, album and station information and album art can be displayed on the INA-W910’s screen. Pandora features such as the thumbs up/down rating system, new station creation, and bookmarking of songs for later purchase are all accessible from the INA-W910.
• iPod® and iPhone®: The INA-W910 meets the specifications for the “Made for iPod and iPhone” compatibility. Song, artist and album information, plus album art are displayed on the INA-W910 if this information is available on the iPod or iPhone. The INA-W910 features iPod Passenger Mode, allowing back seat passengers to play their iPod or iPhone through the INA-W910’s audio system, using the device’s own controls.

Navigation Features
The INA-W910’s navigation system has pre-loaded NAVTEQ maps of the U.S. and Canada, over six million NAVTEQ Premium Points of Interest (POIs), and voice-guided turn-by-turn driving

instructions. Lifetime NAVTEQ RDS traffic service is included and does not require a separate subscription. The picture-in-picture GuideView™ Window displays the next driving maneuver, a compass, or speed limit of the current street – even if the INA-W910 is playing a music source.


Bluetooth Wireless Technology Features
Hands-free calling is available from the INA-W910’s built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology module, powered by Parrot. Phonebook access is available, navigation maps can be used during a call, and navigation POIs like restaurants can be dialed just by tapping the POI icon.

Sound Quality Features
The INA-W910 has a built-in 18W RMS x 4 amplifier (at CEA-2006 power ratings), three 4-volt pre-amp outputs, 7-band EQ, time correction, crossover, and a 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC. It uses MediaXpander™ technology to restore richer, truer playback to compressed digital music.

The INA-W910 is available now for $1,199.95 MAP at authorized Alpine retailers. The SXV100 is available now for $69.99 retail, from SiriusXM’s distribution channel.
