The stunning new Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I received an email in the morning from Connect Daimler, inviting Exotics in India to witness the exclusive preview of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class. I was thrilled after seeing the email, since it was the first time Exotics in India was being invited for a preview. I completely understood the “Begin with the best” logic after viewing the stunning new Mercedes-Benz C-Class.


With over 2,000 new improvements, the C-Class is on its way to capture the audience’s imagination with its distinguished looks. The new C-Class is equipped with a 2.0 litre engine which produces 205bhp. More information will be available after its official launch. Exterior:  The new C will boast dynamic driving characteristics than ever. The front section has been re-worked adding striking new air intakes, a bold new radiator grille and stylish LED daytime running lights, giving it a sporty look. The new C is on similar lines of the AMG body styling. The new C also features 18” AMG 7-spoke alloy wheels.

Interior: The new C interior combines intelligent design with exceptional luxury, which roots its styling cues from the latest CLS-class. Exceptional luxury high quality materials like Nappa leather, brown ash wood and brushed aluminum are used for the cabin. The dashboard features a high resolution screen which is Ideal for at-a-glance access to navigation, communication and entertainment information. The 12 button multifunction steering wheel allows you take complete advantage of its ergonomic feature.

The new C Saloon incorporates “BlueEFFICIENCY” technology, delivering cleaner and a greener performance. The new C also features a new introduction of the ECO Start/Stop transmission on both manual and automatic. It automatically cuts the engine when not in use, thereby optimises fuel economy.

To promote safer driving, technologies such as Attention Assist, Adaptive brake lights, Lane tracking package, Adaptive High Beam Assist, Speed Limit Assist, PARKTRONIC and Reversing camera have been incorporated. It also comes with Mercedes’ acclaimed active safety feature, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP).

The new C-Class is priced approximately at 43Lakhs and is offered with both petrol and diesel engines.
