Fiat Freemont


Fiat Freemont is the largest and most expensive model of the Italian company. The new version of the 4WD AWD (All-Wheel Drive) is even more clearly emphasize the versatility of this crossover. It combines the features of a passenger car, SUV and van.

Fiat Freemont AWD with four-wheel drive can be equipped with a 170 hp 2.0 MultiJet diesel engine or gasoline II 3.6 V-6 with 280 hp - both working with a new six-speed automatic transmission. Fiat argues that this new powertrain to safely move the car even under conditions considered to be extreme.

Fiat Freemont AWD system has an active four-wheel drive type of 'on demand' (if applicable) electronically controlled. Based on estimates indicate the set of sensors traction and determines the degree of power distribution to the rear axle.
