Lotus Exige S Roadster

At the Geneva Motor Show was a premiere of exciting Lotus Exige S Roadster. First time model Exige will be offered with a factory soft top. This solution is very convenient and allows you to quickly distribute or make the roof when the weather strike.

The new Exige without a roof will be powered by turbocharged, 2.3-liter V6 engine that propels the car to 60 mph in 4 seconds, and then after 8.5 seconds on the clock will be 100 mph. The maximum speed the car is 145 mph.

Auto will be available with a traditional 6-speed manual transmission, but if we decide on a range of additional equipment, we can choose a special paddle-controlled automatic transmission, called Serial Precision Shift (SPS),

Auto is one of the lightest six-cylinder roadsters on the market. In addition, auto will be offered with two different types of suspension. The basic version is traditionally tuned to a dynamic, urban driving.

The second option includes sport-tuned suspension as part of the so-called Race Pack. Such a suspension is the perfect solution to the track. In addition, this version also includes a launch control system. Auto appears in the largest markets in Europe and Asia. Price or exact release schedule is not known.
